
Awad S. Hanna, Ph.D., P.E.
President
Dr. Awad S. Hanna is a professor and chair of construction engineering and management program at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Dr. Hanna holds M. S. and Ph.D. degrees from Penn State University and he is a register professional engineer in the U S and Canada.
Awad has been an active construction practitioner, educator and researcher for over 30 years including 10 years as a design engineer and project manager. He has taught construction management courses at Penn State University, Memorial University in Canada, and University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Paulette Hanna, MS. Eng., P.E.
Vice President, Highway Consulting
Paulette Hanna has served as a principal consultant of Highway Construction for Hanna Consulting Group, Inc. since its inception. She studied civil engineering at Ain-Shams University in Cairo, Egypt, Pennsylvania State University, and Memorial University in Canada, where she was awarded a Master of Engineering degree in 1992. She is also a licensed professional engineer in the state of Wisconsin.
Paulette has more than 20 years of engineering and project management experience in the construction industry. Her background includes all aspects of construction disputes; dispute resolution, construction delay and lost productivity claims; quantification and evaluation of damages; project management, and project documents and schedules.

Norm Doll, P.E.
Management Consulting
Mr. Doll is a 1977 graduate of UW-Madison with a BS Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. He is a registered Professional Engineer. His prior experiences include field and project engineering with a major design and build contractor and being brought up in the construction industry. Mr. Doll joined Pieper Electric in March, 1983 as a Construction Manager and was subsequently promoted to Project Manager, Director, and then Vice President. In 1993, he became President and was made Chairman in 2005.
He has handled steel fabrication projects, underground electrical construction, industrial electrical projects, process instrumentation and control projects, and underground and overhead line construction.

William R. Edwards
Management Consulting, Mechanical and Plumbing Contractors’ Claims Specialist
William Edwards is President and Principal of a specialty-contracting firm based in Madison, Wisconsin. Mr. Edwards has been managing, as well as estimating, large commercial projects for the past 18 years. He holds a BS in Construction Administration from the University of Wisconsin- Madison and has taught both Design/Build and Estimating courses at the University’s Department of Engineering Professional Development.
In addition, he has taught Apprenticeship Trade courses at various technical colleges throughout South Central Wisconsin and has served on the local Apprenticeship Board. He has served in leadership roles with the local and state trade organizations and has been extremely dedicated to facilitating their educational success.

Larry Bernetich
Safety Specialist
Larry Bernetich has over 20 years experience as a safety consultant in the construction industry. He has served as safety director to industry leaders such as M.A. Mortenson and AZCO Inc. and currently uses his many years of experience to assist owners and contractors with risk engineering services. Mr. Bernetich focuses on creating innovative solutions to improve performance, reduce risk and lower construction claims.

Jack Morrison
Senior Management Consultant
Jack Morrison is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a senior management consultant with Hanna Consulting Group. He has over 10 years of experience in claims preparation and consulting, working primarily with clients in the electrical contracting industry throughout the equitable adjustment and claims process. Mr. Morrison analyzes project documentation to assess productivity impacts using advanced modeling techniques, and supports expert testimony through research and analysis for arbitration and court proceedings.
In addition, Mr. Morrison designs and delivers continuing education curricula and professional development seminars for project managers, executives, estimators, and foremen, focusing on best practices in change management and productivity improvement.
